Description
Job Summary:
A Surgical Technologist specializing in Operating Room Open Heart procedures is sought for a facility located in Billings, Montana. This position involves performing scrub duties, maintaining sterile supplies and techniques, assisting during surgical procedures, and ensuring a sterile environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Billings, Montana
- Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH)
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (x3 12s), variable; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program; ability to work nights and weekends; two (2) years of Surgical Tech experience; one (1) year CVOR scrubbing experience; at least one (1) year CV experience as a Surgical Tech; BLS (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association
- Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year clinical experience in an accredited hospital
- Additional Information: Candidates must have at least two (2) years of Surgical Tech experience, including one (1) year of CVOR scrubbing experience, and possess cardio experience in their profile or resume. Training in the US military may substitute for formal surgical technologist training.
