Job Summary:
Emergency Room RN in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Location: Asheville, NC
  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 90 days of hire. Minimum of 2 years experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in an Emergency Room setting; 2 years experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center with high patient volume; previous experience with Cerner electronic medical record; strong teamwork mentality; ability to coach and give feedback in real time; flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a high-volume Emergency Department, previous HCA experience preferred.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The unit emphasizes teamwork and a welcoming environment. Staff are recognized for their dedication and serve a culturally diverse community speaking over 120 languages.
