Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Asheville, North Carolina. This urgent care position requires candidates to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role involves working in a high-volume Emergency Department with a focus on teamwork, coaching, and providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment. Candidates with prior experience in Level II trauma centers or comprehensive stroke centers are preferred.

Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) before starting date on hire, Basic Life Support (BLS) before starting date on hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) before starting date on hire, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) before starting date on hire, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) before starting date on hire, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) before starting date on hire, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 90 days of hire
Required Qualifications: 2 years experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in Emergency Room setting, 2 years experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume 100,000 visit ED, prior HCA experience preferred, EMR: Cerner, Location: Asheville, NC, Years of Experience: 0+
Schedule: Every other weekend, cant commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the department

Float: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
