Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Asheville, North Carolina. This position is based in a high-volume, Level II trauma center with comprehensive stroke services and a dedicated pediatric emergency department. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing top-level patient care, and collaborating effectively within a highly skilled team.

• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts

• Required Qualifications: 2 years experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in emergency room setting; 2 years experience in a Level II trauma center or high-volume emergency department (100,000+ visits); certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC within 90 days of hire; current nursing license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with a health care organization similar to the organization preferred.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate teamwork mentality, the ability to coach and give feedback in real time, and flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. No floating outside the emergency department is required, but open to floating within all sections of the ED. The department is renowned for its teamwork, welcoming personalities, and serving a diverse community speaking over 120 languages.
