Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit care is needed at a healthcare facility located in Springfield, Massachusetts. The position involves providing critical care to patients in a 32-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit that is licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients. The role requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. Candidates are expected to float as needed to Medical HVCC, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and Intermediate Care. The assignment is scheduled to start on 07/13/2026.

Job Details:

• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 07/13/2026
• Float: No float rotation may be required
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS (All through American Heart Association); Education: RN license; Location: Springfield, MA; Experience: 1 year in a Level 1 ICU or 2 years in MICU setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in MICU setting; 2 years of ICU experience preferred
• Additional Information: The unit is a 32-bed Medical ICU licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients. The unit covers sepsis, ESRD, and AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure. They are looking for strong ICU nurses with solid backgrounds; candidates with only 1 year of experience or recent graduates may be considered too inexperienced for this unit.
