Description
Job Summary:
The surgical technician specializing in operating room technology is located in Sacramento, California. This role involves supporting a busy surgical unit with a focus on General Orthopedics, Robotic, Bariatric, Urology, Gynecology, and Plastic cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position demands flexibility, dependability, and the ability to perform DaVinci robotic cases and total joints independently.
Job Details:
- Schedule: M-F 1400-2230 with required call overnights, weekends, and holidays; first to float
- Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician with at least 2 years of experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, valid license to submit, and available to start on 07/21/2026
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DaVinci robotic cases and total joints independently, travel assignment experience
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Candidates must have completed at least one travel assignment. Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with the organization within the past year. Candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
