Job Summary:
The position is for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The healthcare organization seeks a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with experience working specifically in Cardiac Intensive Care Units (CVICU). Candidates are required to bring their state license on the first day of assignment. The role involves providing critical care in a community-focused hospital environment, with a schedule of 12-hour days, including weekend rotation, and participation in call duties.

Job Details:

  • Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
  • Shift: 12-hour days including weekend rotation; candidate must agree to participate in call rotation with one call shift per two-week period
  • Required Qualifications: Colorado RN license in good standing; BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association; strong CVICU skills; Day 0 CVICU experience; three years of RN critical care experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level 1 experience; teaching hospital experience; EMR experience with Epic and Cerner systems
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Additional Information: The traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility. Out-of-state agencies must register in the Colorado system, and proof of license and other credentials are required. The target start date is 08/11/2026.
  • Submission Requirements: Resume, BLS, ACLS, and PALS - American Heart Association Skills Sheet including CVICU skills; Nursys RN license.
