Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse position available in Lakeport, California. This role involves providing direct patient care in a Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and 3 years of charge nurse experience, with current certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.

Job Details:

• Location: Lakeport, California
• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift: 3 x 12 Night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM; weekend rotation required, no on-call requirement
• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California State License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certification, 2+ years ER experience, 3+ years charge experience, EMR experience with community hospital software, COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma centers, pediatric emergency department, neuro-trauma, and knowledge of advanced emergency procedures such as arterial line management and continuous IV sedation
• Additional Information: The emergency department cares for all patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 25 patients. Applicants must upload Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks and provide two references obtained within the last year. Onboarding involves completing labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and providing 7-year work history verification. Any time spent on non-billable modules during orientation will be recorded accordingly.
