Description
Job Summary:
This position is for a Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) in Colorado, with a facility located in Glenwood Springs. The role involves providing compassionate care to mothers and babies, including deliveries, postpartum, and neonatal care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends. Call rotation typically involves one 12-hour shift every six weeks, subject to change.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado; in good standing. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE certification are required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Schedule: Working 12-hour days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information:
- Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
- Agency registration in Colorado (CAPS requirement) must be completed, which can take up to two weeks.
- Ensure correct Social Security number and date of birth are entered in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues.
