Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in Labor and Delivery Post Partum (L&D PP) at a facility located in Walnut Creek, California. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries, including care for patients with conditions such as Mag Pts, GHTN, and those requiring Bakari balloon placement. Candidates are required to bring their California nursing license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

  • Position: Post Partum Floor RN
  • Location: Walnut Creek, California
  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 07/28/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Current California nursing license at the time of submission, minimum of 2+ years of RN experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience, Clinical Laboratory Standards (CLS), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), EPIC electronic medical record system experience
  • Patient Population: Vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries, patients with Mag Pts, GHTN, Bakari balloon placements
  • Ratios: 1:3, aligned with California state mandates; ratios may vary based on patient acuity and census
  • Float: May be required to float to similar units as needed, within the same scope of practice, typically every other weekend.
  • Additional Information: IVS will interview and the manager will extend an offer. Candidates must have a current California license at the time of submission.
