Job Summary:
A Sterile Processing Technician position is available in Frisco, Colorado. This role supports surgical, obstetric, emergency, and outpatient clinics within a busy healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position involves working in a surgical environment, with responsibilities that include sterilizing equipment and assisting in operative settings.

Job Details:

• Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) via Health Sciences Partner Association, Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT) via Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution; valid license not needed to submit.
• Location Requirements: Candidates should be within 60 miles of Frisco, Colorado, and must be in the state for the week of orientation even if modules are remote.
• Schedule: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with 6 weekday nights (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and 2 weekend 24-hour shifts per 6-week scheduling period. Holiday and call requirements may be applicable, with a call response time of 30 minutes.
• Experience and Skills: Minimum of 1 year experience in ortho trauma and robotics required. Experience in procedures involving total joints, da Vinci robot, sports medicine, OB/GYN, urology, and familiarity with procedures in surgery (3 ORs), OB, ER, clinics.
• Responsibilities: Disinfecting and sterilizing surgical equipment, managing general sets, robotics, and supplies. No floating required.
• Orientation: Hospital-specific orientation scheduled during the first week.
• Additional Notes: Candidates should be comfortable with procedures outside of gastrointestinal and be prepared for possible holiday and call duties. Scrubs are provided by the facility.
• Cancellation Policy: The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts in a 13-week assignment.
