Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) specialty position is located in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role involves working in a busy surgical environment with a variety of case types, utilizing advanced equipment including Baxter pumps and DaVinci robots. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to participate in a dynamic OR team with cross-training to Endoscopy, and candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in all areas of the OR.

Job Details:

• Location: Bridgeport, West Virginia
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Education/Experience: 2 years of OR experience required; Valid driver's license must be submitted with application
• Schedule: Four 10-hour days, with weekend shifts as scheduled. Days are 12-hour shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Valid drivers license; certifications as listed; minimum 2 years OR experience; experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR); familiarity with Baxter pumps and DaVinci Robot; experience across all OR areas; cross-training to Endoscopy preferred; experience with Vascular, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Eyes, ENT surgeries; open to candidates with experience in all types of cases except open heart.
• Additional Information: Call shifts include one weeknight call every 4 weeks from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and one weekend call on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday up to 24 hours per 3-month contract.
• Notes: All submissions must include a copy of the candidates unexpired drivers license. The trauma level for this role is 2.
