Description
Job Summary:
A Pediatric Department Nurse is needed in Dickinson, North Dakota. This position involves providing skilled pediatric care, including rooming patients, phone triage, medication administration, sterile procedures, and utilizing electronic medical records. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. This is a day shift role, with no holidays or call requirements.
Job Details:
- Location: Dickinson, North Dakota
- Specialties supported include pediatric, OB/GYN, orthopedics, maternal fetal medicine, and internal medicine, with floating support as needed.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no holidays or call.
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of general nursing experience; experience in ambulatory care preferred; must reside more than 80 miles from the facility; willing to wait for license submission.
- Additional Information: Will not accept local candidates; may float to other clinics if needed. Dress code includes navy scrubs top and bottoms with a warm-up jacket. Orientation will be provided by 1-2 nurse preceptors, duration based on prior experience and demonstrated competency. Staff work as a team, rarely as the sole nurse in a department.
