Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care is sought for a critical access facility located in Bridgton, Maine. The facility provides comprehensive emergency services and is currently seeking qualified candidates to cover night shifts. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Bridgton, ME
• Shift: Nights, with a schedule requiring flexibility for days, mids, and nights; no set schedule of how many days each shift will be scheduled
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIH); 2+ years of ER experience; experience managing dysrhythmias, blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting IVs, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration, and handling CVA, orthopedic trauma, head injuries, isolation precautions, triage, and utilizing Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical Access experience, NIHSS certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Must be flexible for various shifts; 10 weekend shifts per contract; equipment includes Level I infuser, telestroke; patient population includes critical emergency cases such as trauma, stroke, and code situations
