Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry located in Neptune, New Jersey. This role involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and developing individualized plans of care for a highly busy 52-bed medical surgical unit. The nurse will manage care, perform therapeutic interventions, and advocate for evidence-based practice standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Neptune, NJ
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend required, 36 or more hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN or BSN; NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license; minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit in a major acute care hospital setting; Certifications including NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Telemetry, Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), Contact Stroke 4 Hours, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree.
• Required Skills & Experience: RN experience; MS/Telemetry background; strong communication, teamwork, and compassion.
• Additional Information: The patient assignment may include step-down patients. This position requires floating, scrubs in navy blue, and working in an extremely busy environment with multiple holiday observances.
• The job involves other duties and responsibilities as assigned in a fast-paced, 52-bed medical surgical unit, with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5.
