Job Summary:
A Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Nurse is needed in Washington, D.C. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position involves providing specialized care within a Pediatric Sub-Specialties unit, including administering therapies such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy, managing ports, patient education, and coordinating care with outpatient partners. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic pediatric environment with a focus on infusion and oncology treatments.

- Additional Information: Responsible for accessing/de-accessing ports, initiating IV therapy, administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, therapeutic phlebotomy, pain and symptom management, injections, patient teaching/education, care coordination via phone and electronic medical record, vaccines, record transfer, daily equipment checks, and other duties as directed. EMR systems must be utilized effectively.
