Job Summary:
The Augusta, Georgia-based Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position involves providing compassionate and efficient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department Fast Service and Emergency Department (FSED). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of emergency cases, including trauma patients, and performing essential procedures. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Augusta, Georgia
• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week
• Position Type: Peak Period (temporary staffing for high volume)
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS; 2 years of experience in emergency nursing; Georgia nursing license or ability to obtain one; experience with Meditech electronic medical records; comfortable with trauma patient care and common ED chief complaints.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with point of care labs, ventilator management, and working in a Level II trauma and primary stroke center setting.
• Additional Information: Frequent admissions to the main hospital from the FSED; opportunity to learn and use bipap and ventilator equipment; new facility with modern equipment; team-oriented environment.
