Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients with neurological and trauma-related diagnoses. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day and should have recent experience in medical-surgical, progressive care, or intensive care settings. The shift spans 12 hours during night hours, and the schedule includes every other weekend, holidays, and potential float assignments across sister units.

Job Details:

• Location: Marshfield, WI
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Self-scheduling with the manager balancing shifts, open 6 weeks in advance; cannot guarantee same shifts for travel duos
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 48 hours
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: RN license; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical, progressive care, or intensive care units; experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management, drip medications (Heparin, Nitro, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Insulin, and others); experience within the last 12 months in a similar setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Traches and Ventilation management; previous work at Marshfield with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
• Float Requirement: Yes floating to sister medical-surgical units across six different specialties including mixed care, cardiac, general, orthopedic, hematology/oncology
• Additional Information: Candidates must note if they have previously worked at Marshfield, with employment termination at least 6 months prior to application; clock-in and clock-out are required at the facility.
