Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) RN position is located in a busy tertiary care facility in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves providing specialized critical care for adult patients recovering from cardiac surgeries and other cardiovascular conditions. The RN will be responsible for managing hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, and other critical care procedures during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; at least 2 years of critical care experience in adult ICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU; ventilator management skills; art/central line management skills; chest tube care; Meditech experience; CPR certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CVICU-specific procedures such as CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella; BSN degree; CCRN certification.
• Float: Float to Medical Intensive Care Unit, Neuro Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Progressive Care Unit as needed.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a unit with approximately 16 beds and a staff of 45, utilizing GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Implella, Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, chest tubes, and vents. The team emphasizes collaborative care and requires a team player.
