Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an inpatient rehabilitation unit located in Madison, Wisconsin. The position involves providing care to adult patients with high acuity needs requiring inpatient rehabilitation services. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment. The role offers a 12-hour shift schedule and starts on July 21, 2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday rotations
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, minimum of 1+ year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment. Preferred experience includes medical-surgical or inpatient rehabilitation related to patient acuity.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with medical-surgical or inpatient rehabilitation units
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled for January 6 and 20, February 17, March 17, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 7 and 21, August 18, September 15, October 13, November 10, and December 8, 2026. The role is a contractor replacement position.
- Float: No float requirement at this time; may be required to float to a satellite inpatient rehab facility within 20 minutes in the near future.
