Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry, Older Pediatric, and Hospice setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves developing, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, assessing patient conditions, establishing care priorities, and managing patient care throughout the shift.

Job Details:

• Location: Neptune, New Jersey
• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 3 days per week with 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend and one holiday per year are required.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Telemetry certification, CEU contact stroke 4 hours, minimum of 2 years RN experience working in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital setting, ASN or BSN degree, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role requires taking care of hospice patients and providing patient-centric, evidence-based nursing care. Flexibility for floating to other units when needed is required.
