Description
Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) position in inpatient rehabilitation located in Madison, Wisconsin. The role involves providing high-acuity nursing care on a specialized inpatient rehab floor. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position begins on July 21, 2026, and offers an opportunity to work in a facility dedicated to complex patient recovery and physical therapy.
Job Details:
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Specialty: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; minimum of 36 hours per week, working every other weekend and holiday rotations.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment; certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity.
- Additional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled for January 6th & 20th, February 17th, March 17th, April 14th, May 12th, June 9th, July 7th & 21st, August 18th, September 15th, October 13th, November 10th, and December 8th, 2026. The hospital functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit, with high acuity cases requiring collaborative care. The length of assignment is from 07/21/2026, with a contractor replacement.
- Float: No, float requirements are not currently in place but may be needed to a satellite inpatient rehab facility within 20 minutes in the near future.
