Job Summary:
The labor and delivery (L&D) nursing position is located in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing care in a specialized labor, delivery, and postpartum unit. Candidates are required to bring their valid California license on the first day. The position requires completing a set of clinical skills and certifications prior to start.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN Advanced (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), AWHONN Intermediate, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, minimum recent experience of 1 year within the last 3 years, experience charting in Epic electronic medical record system, and experience with high-risk antepartum care, high volume birth facility (200-300 births/month), and specific procedures such as fetal monitoring, sterile exams, and use of intrauterine pressure catheters.

• Float: Float rotation may be required between units or neighboring facilities.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) are required, and submission must include SSN, date of birth, RTO (Return to Office) documentation, and copies of certifications.
