Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont. This role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, rural emergency department with over 15,000 annual visits. Candidates are required to bring their Vermont or compact multi-state Registered Nurse license on the first day. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience and familiarity with the Meditech electronic medical record system. The work schedule is nights, with a shift duration of 12 hours, and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Current Vermont or compact multi-state RN License, BLS, ACLS, minimum 3 years ER RN experience, familiarity with Meditech Electronic Medical Record system or ability to learn quickly, and certifications as specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Emergency Department has nine beds and sees over 15,000 patients annually. The facility is a rural critical access hospital with no public transportation, and the closest airport is two hours away. Credentialing must be completed no later than five business days before the start date. Travelers will start on Wednesdays, and during orientation, a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start.
