Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) registered nurse (RN) is based in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and plays a vital role in providing surgical patient care within a 3-bed OR unit. This position involves working in a surgical environment with a focus on patient safety and efficient care delivery. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of assignment.

• Required Certifications/Credentials: ACLS, BLS, PALS, HWC, and RN licensure in New Mexico; all certifications must be current at submission as certifications are not available on site.
• Education: Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in NM
• Experience: 0 years minimum, with 2+ years of experience preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required if needed
• Additional Information: Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered. Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting for background check results but must be supervised. All travelers must have required certifications at submission, and each agency needs an active account with the NM Department of Health to start background check procedures.
