Job Summary:
An Endoscopy Laboratory Technician position is available in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized endoscopy procedures within a busy hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
- Shift: Day shift, variable depending on volume; Night shift call team only
- Hours per week: Minimum of 40 hours
- Years of Experience: 2.0 years of in-hospital endoscopy experience required
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); currently licensed Health Care Professional; at least 2 years of in-hospital endoscopy experience; flexible scheduling
- Preferred Qualifications: Pulmonary procedural experience
- Typical Procedures Performed: Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), Bronchoscopy, ION, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
- Equipment: Olympus scopes and processors, ION, Olympus ultrasound machine, ERBE electronic medical record (EMR) system, Provation
- Float: Float rotation may be required
