Job Summary:
An emergency room Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Brighton, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires working night shifts, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing (Bachelors degree preferred), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, certification appropriate for the unit or service such as ACLS, NRP, or PALS.
• Additional Information: The nurse will perform health assessments, health teaching, health counseling, documentation, medical function execution, consulting, delegation, supervision, and therapy and treatment planning. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, and may be on-call during a scheduled shift.
