Description

Job Summary:
A Clinical Educator position is available in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves delivering clinical education content, supporting unit-based coaching, and ensuring staff competency validation within an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Asheville, North Carolina
  • Schedule: Rotating shift hours, containing 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: No minimum years of experience specified. Candidates should have certification and education requirements relevant to nursing education, possess acute care, critical care, and procedural experience, along with clinical teaching, competency validation, nurse residency or transition-to-practice training, preceptor development, skills validation, staff onboarding or orientation, and familiarity with high-risk education, regulatory readiness, quality, and safety initiatives.

  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The position entails delivering tailored clinical education to staff, supporting various shifts including nights and weekends, performing rounding and coaching, validating understanding and competencies, documenting education completion, and addressing barriers to education.
