Job Summary:
The Bronx, NY healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Manager for their Interventional Radiology (IR) unit. This leadership position requires candidates to have at least one year of IR experience and the ability to oversee clinical operations within the unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves managing patient care across all three phases of procedures, coordinating staff, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Job Details:

  • Additional Information: The RN Manager will oversee clinical activities, coordinate patient management during pre, intra, and post-procedure phases, and communicate with physicians and mid-level providers to plan and modify the care plan. The position involves electronic and paper charting via the Allscripts EMR system.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Equipment/EMR: Allscripts
  • Shift Requirements: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM; 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
  • Notes: No floating required; staff will only go to the Cath lab for IR specific cases.
