Job Summary:
The geographic location is Templeton, California. This position is for a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in the operating room specialty. The role involves supporting surgical procedures as a first assistant, providing intraoperative care, and ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Shift Hours: 10-hour shifts, working Monday through Friday, with a schedule of either 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no set off day.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a school of nursing. Certification of completion of an approved didactic RNFA course. Three years scrub and circulate experience in an acute care facility. Current RN license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthstream BLS or RQI BLS certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or HS-PALS or RQI PALS certification. Current Professional Liability insurance and Professional Liability Insurance (PLI).
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: Must have RNFA and experience in orthopedics, orthopedic totals, gynecology, and general surgery. One night of call per week and one weekend per month.
• Experience: Three years scrub and circulate experience in an acute care facility is required.
