Job Summary:
A Psychiatric Unit Registered Nurse (RN) is sought in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The BHU Resource RN will deliver high-quality psychiatric nursing care to patients with mental health and emotional disorders, adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Muskogee, OK
• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; completion of professional nursing curricula verified by a state board of nursing; two (2) years of related experience; working knowledge of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways; effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize work effectively; detail orientation in clinical and numerical data analysis.
• Preferred Qualifications: Behavior Health experience; de-escalation techniques.
• Additional Information: The role involves assessing, developing, and reviewing patient care plans; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams; maintaining accurate patient records; supporting discharge planning; and participating in educational activities. The RN will work directly with patients, healthcare professionals, and internal and external stakeholders, often at director level or above, without supervisory responsibilities but providing input on performance evaluations.
