Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room First Assistant (ORFA) in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing advanced assistance during various surgical procedures, including orthopedic trauma, neuro, spine, gynecology, and robotics. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure efficient operative care in a dynamic, well-equipped environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Certified Surgical Technologist First Assist (CSTFA), Certified First Assistant (CFA), and Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA); relevant experience including assisting with orthopedic trauma, spine, neuro, gynecology, robotics, vascular, pediatrics, ENT, plastics, podiatry, oral and maxillofacial, dental, and eye trauma; location in Asheville, North Carolina; 1 year of experience required

- Additional Information: The unit features advanced equipment such as five Davinci Robots, Mako, and Velys Robots. Staffing includes unit secretaries and technicians, with flexible scheduling and call requirements.
