Job Summary:
The city of Hickory, North Carolina, is seeking a registered nurse (RN) specializing in telemetry at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing care to general cardiac patients ranging from young adults to elderly adults. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Associates degree; valid nursing license in the United States; a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment; Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR); residence in or willing to commute at least 60 miles to the facility
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Additional Information: May occasionally be required to float to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), Neuro-Post Central Unit (NPCU), or Surgical units. The unit has 24 beds with patient ratios of 4:1. Equipment used includes Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo devices. The unit primarily cares for general cardiac patients of varying ages. The dress code allows any color scrubs.
