Job Summary
Home Healthcare Nurse in the Franklin/Macon County area. This role involves providing home health and hospice services to a patient population within the specified region. The position requires reliable transportation and adherence to facility-specific policies, with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care in a home setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of home health or hospice experience, and experience working in the Franklin/Macon County area.
- Preferred Qualifications: Home health or hospice experience for nursing staff preferred.
- Additional Information: Call requirements are every 6-7 weeks for one week at night from 5 pm to 8 am, including weekend shifts. No night visits are scheduled from this office. Candidates should have a dependable vehicle for patient visits.
- Location: 68 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville, North Carolina 28803
- Certifications: Nursing license in good standing; advanced skills related to home health and hospice care preferred.
- Dress Code: Nursing staff to wear navy or navy and white scrub uniforms.
- Unit and Hospital Specifics: Home health unit with approximately 100 patients, staffing includes home health and hospice professionals.
- Additional Notes: Candidates should be dependable and experienced in home health/hospice care, demonstrating professionalism and reliability.
