Job Summary:
A Telemetry Nurse is needed for an Intermediate Care Unit in Alton, Illinois. This role involves working during night shifts, providing care for adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring, post-cardiac catheterization, pacemaker care, and observation for myocardial infarction. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Position: Telemetry Nurse in an Intermediate Care Unit.
• Location: Alton, Illinois.
• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; Education Requirements: Valid MO or compact license; Experience: 1 year of telemetry experience; Location Requirements: Illinois license in hand at the time of submittal or MO/compact license; Years of experience: 0.0.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Schedule: Night shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Previous telemetry experience required, EMR system Epic, flu vaccination required, candidate must submit without license if license is tied to another compact state, Illinois license required at time of submittal. No local candidates within 75 miles accepted. Submittals should confirm shift and ensure license readiness before submission.
