Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves working in a dynamic surgical environment, providing patient care during various surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role offers rotating schedules with either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, based on departmental needs.
Job Details:
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Schedule: Rotating Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts from 6:50 AM to 3:20 PM or 10-hour shifts from 6:50 AM to 4:50 PM; start times may begin at 6:00 AM depending on case requirements. Minimum hours per week: 40 hours.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience for 2 years is preferred; if no CVOR cases, candidates must be prepared to perform general cases, have prior travel experience, and be familiar with EPIC (Enterprise Patient Information Center).
- Additional Information: Experience in CVOR is required; if not available, general surgery cases will be assigned. Flexibility to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles may be necessary. Call hours are based on department needs, with rotating weekday and weekend call.
