Job Summary:
This is a travel Registered Nurse (RN) position specializing in Neuro Medical-Surgical and Telemetry at a healthcare facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role involves providing specialized neuro assessments and post-surgical care to patients with diagnoses such as stroke, seizures, neuro surgeries, and trauma. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift, Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM); Holidays and every other weekend are required
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

• Required Qualifications: Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license; Certifications in the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS); 2 years of experience in a neuro or medical-surgical setting; EMR experience with Cerner preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in neuro assessments, critical thinking skills, drain management, post-surgical care, chest tube, groin site management post interventional radiology (IR)
• Float: Yes, float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Candidates must attach required license and certifications with submission; drivers license and permanent home address must match ID; travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted; holidays and every other weekend are required
