Description
Job Summary:
This labor and delivery registered nurse (RN) position is located in Denver, Colorado. The role involves providing comprehensive care for patients in the labor and delivery unit, including antepartum and high-risk obstetric cases. Candidates are required to bring their professional license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Denver, Colorado
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 07/20/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and at least 2 years of labor and delivery (L&D) experience with antepartum/high-risk L&D experience. Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records (EMR) and CPN charting system is necessary.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mom-baby or couplet care.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The unit has 26 beds with a staff of 52, including nurses, charge nurses, and other team members. Typical procedures include laboring patients, antepartum care, cesarean sections, cerclages, and EDOB patients. The unit values candidates who are flexible and able to work autonomously.
