Job Summary:
A Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Holyoke, Massachusetts. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care within a behavioral health unit serving geriatric, pediatric (ages 5-17), and adult populations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Holyoke, MA
• Shift: Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); graduated from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; minimum of one year experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting; no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Schedule: Nights 7p-7a, 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:

  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
  • Weekend hours: Every other weekend
  • Call requirements: no call
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Patient ratios: 1:8 variable, with lower ratios for geriatric and pediatric patients
  • Patient population includes geriatrics, pediatrics (ages 5-17), and adults

  • Unit information: 104 beds across five units (adult, child, geri) with two adult units (24 beds each), 24 beds on geriatrics, and 12 beds on pediatrics
