Description
Job Summary:
A registered nurse position is available in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Unit located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the obstetric patient population, ensuring quality care delivery in a safe and efficient manner. Candidates are required to bring their current licensure on the first day of work. The shift is nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Department
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, minimum 36 hours per week
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA), Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA, Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Licenses: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license required
- Education/Skills/Experience: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program; knowledge appropriate to the patient age and type served; sensitive to patient rights; clear communication skills; newly hired nurses with two or fewer years of experience as a Registered Nurse will be hired in at a CN I status; consideration for higher clinical ladder levels based on experience, certification, and further education (B.S.N. or MSN)
- Additional Information: This vacancy is a backfill replacement for two existing staff members; the position is full time, with a start date of 08/03/2026.
