Description

Job Summary:
A Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) position is available in San Francisco, California. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures by performing routine and delegated duties according to departmental standards and policies to ensure the delivery of quality patient care. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

Location: San Francisco, CA
Position: Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT)
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience
Certifications and Education: CST licensure (NBSTSA) Certified Surgical Technologist; BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association; High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts with start times ranging from 6:45 AM to 1:00 PM; weekends included in the rotation; on-call required
Required Qualifications: Valid California State License uploaded within the last 2 weeks via Nursys; applicable certifications with valid expiration dates uploaded; minimum of 5 years experience; at least a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Preferred Qualifications: No additional preferred qualifications specified
Additional Information: Candidates must submit two references obtained within the last year. All compliance documents must be submitted 10 days prior to start date. Labs should be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing.
Onboarding and Compliance: Work history verification spanning 7 years; all certifications and licenses verified and current; vaccinations unknown but must be prepared for possible policy requirements.
