Description
Job Summary:
This labor and delivery (L&D) registered nurse (RN) position is located in Napa, California. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role involves providing care in an acute care hospital setting, supporting expectant mothers through labor and delivery processes, and working a 12-hour night shift. The position offers the opportunity to work at a facility with a total of 200 staffed beds.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications, no minimum experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor and delivery, community hospital experience preferred.
- Float: Float to postpartum units may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in patient ratio management, charting with Epic, and obstetric procedures such as sterile vaginal exams. The assignment begins on 07/13/2026, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. RTO restrictions require that RTO must be included at the time of submission.
