Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse specializing in emergency care located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. The position is scheduled for night shifts, offering an opportunity to support diverse patient needs across all age groups including neonates, adolescents, and adults.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, with a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience, and current license in Missouri or compact state.
- Preferred Qualifications: CPI and TNCC certifications are preferred.
- Additional Information: The unit operates with a patient ratio of 4:1 during nights, serving a daily census of approximately 127 patients. The ER handles all patient types, including pediatric and psychiatric cases, and is equipped for trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies. Clinicians may float within scope as needed; no on-call is required. Local candidates are not accepted within 75 miles of the facility. No RTO requests are permitted during the first week of assignment, and all credentials and compliance requirements must be completed prior to start date.
