Job Summary:
Pediatric Psychology is seeking a qualified healthcare professional for a shift located in Bangor, Maine. This position involves providing psychiatric care to pediatric patients within a specialized inpatient setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support); Education Requirements: valid state license; Experience: 0 years minimum experience; Location: Bangor, ME; Pediatric psychiatry experience preferred, Behavioral Health nursing experience required
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 48 hours per week; weekend rotation every other week; holiday work in rotation; up to 7 days off approval, with adjustments for time off as needed
Additional Information: The role involves working in a locked, acute inpatient psychiatric facility with pediatric and adult patients. Support on the unit includes nurse supervisors, nurse managers, and specialized staff. Floating between units is supported and may require manager approval if the candidate is not comfortable with Pediatric assignments. Orientation occurs over the first two weeks, with ongoing scenario-based de-escalation training and MOAB review.
