Job Summary:
The TELEMETRY Registered Nurse position is located in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves providing direct clinical care to patients on a telemetry unit, with responsibilities including assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care per shift. The nurse will also supervise staff delegation, support high-quality, safe nursing practices, and ensure clinical competency.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; graduation from an accredited nursing program; current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; location required in Michigan; ability to work days shift
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry nursing; additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) are advantageous
- Additional Information: The Telemetry Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role involves supervising staff to which appropriate care is delegated and supporting the facility Chief Nursing Officer to maintain high standards of nursing care, clinical competency, and resource management.
