Description

Job Summary:
An Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse is sought for a position in Largo, Florida. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within the operating room environment, supporting open heart procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Location: Largo, FL
Position type: Travel assignment in a psych/rehab department with float unit responsibilities
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
Start Date: 07/12/2026
Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, and experience0 years of experience required; must possess a valid nursing license and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in operating rooms or cardiac surgery units is desirable.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
