Job Summary:
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse is needed at a healthcare facility located in Round Rock, Texas. This position involves providing direct patient nursing care in a fast-paced, critical environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day and should be prepared to work in a team-oriented setting with minimal supervision.

Job Details:

• Location: Round Rock, TX
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license from the Texas Board of Nursing, Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing or equivalent professional licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 180 days of hire, Current experience in ICU or Surgical Trauma ICU preferred.
• Experience: 0 years minimum experience required.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications, obtained within specified timeframes.
• Additional Information: The unit staffing ratio is 1:2 for ICU and 1:3 for Intermediate Care, with 1:1 staffing for patients requiring Impella, CRRT, or IABP. The RN may float to acute care units or emergency department if necessary. The unit utilizes Cerner Powerchart for electronic medical records and requires staff to wear navy blue scrubs. Knowledge of CRRT, CABG, Trauma (TCAR/TNCC), Impella, etc., is preferred.
