Job Summary:
A Nurse position is available in the West Virginia area. This role involves working on a step-down/med-surgical unit within an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a daytime shift from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, working every other weekend.

Job Details:

• Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
• Specialty: Step Down Unit
• Shift Hours: 12-hour dayshift (7:00 am - 7:30 pm); minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (willing to wait); BLS (AHA) certification; at least 1 year of experience; experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: First to float or be pulled to other floor/step-down units
• Additional Information: Expect to work about half of all WVUH recognized holidays.
• Responsibilities: Handling a 6 patient med-surg or a 3 patient step-down, titrating drips such as Heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, anti-arrhythmics, phenobarbitol, ketamine, PCA medications, and TPN in accordance with written orders.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
• License: Valid nursing license; willing to wait for processing
