Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) nurse in York, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing specialized care in a mixed acuity unit focusing on pulmonary, renal, stroke, and other critical conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role emphasizes clinical expertise and the ability to manage complex patient needs within a collaborative environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: 3x12 days shifts with weekends (end of week) and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications: Certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Education and experience include 2 years of relevant clinical experience, proficiency in Epic electronic medical record system, and experience with patient ratios of 3:1.
Additional Information: Candidates may care for COVID-19 patients as needed. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free; notification prior to submission is recommended.
