Job Summary:
The Redwood City, California-based Operating Room (OR) position is a Clinical Nurse (CN) role requiring candidates to provide specialized patient care in the surgical environment. The CN will perform all nursing process steps, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, within the scope of practice defined by the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory standards, and hospital policies. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position involves working in a fast-paced surgical unit to support patient recovery and safety.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, able to communicate effectively in English, no minimum years of experience required
• Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse will create a healing environment by providing emotional support, obtaining accurate assessments, and implementing safety protocols. The role involves teaching patients and families, collaborating with the healthcare team, and participating in unit programs to promote continuous improvement in patient care and safety.
